After reviewing several models and discussing the pros and cons of each we decided on the establishment of a governing board where each position would be responsible for different aspects of the organization but the actual decision making would be shared by all.   The positions we chose are:

• President
• Executive Vice President
• Vice President of Communications and Public Relations
• Vice President of Finance

      Additional board members would include three standing committees with chairs and two at large members.   The standing committees are:

• Formation/ New Membership
• Dominican Mission
• Social Justice

      All staff members were selected for there individual talents and passions.   Though the road was difficult, we believe our process has elected those who were called to have the courage to dream.
